1/2 oz. Cointreau or Triple Sec
1/4 oz. Curacao, Blue
1 1/2 oz. Vodka
Orange for garnish
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the Cointreau, Curacao and vodka. Shake well and use the Hawthorne strainer to strain into a martini glass. Using the citrus zester, use the hook side and scrape along the orange peel to create a spiral shape like below. Isn’t it pretty!! Cheers!

This recipe would actually work well with any type of berry (Rasberry, Blueberry, etc)

 

Blackberry Margarita

½ C. Blackberries (or other berry)
2 oz. Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
½ oz. Agave Nectar
3 oz. White Tequila
2 oz. Orange Liquor
Kosher Salt, Lime or Blackberries for Garnish if Desired

In a cocktail shaker add the blackberries and use the muddler to mash them.  Then add ice, lime juice, agave, tequila and orange liquor.  Shake well and strain using the fine mesh strainer into a margarita glass.  Garnish as desired.  Cheers!

Baby Yoda
Ingredients:
1 oz. Tequila
1 oz. Midori
3 oz. Limeade
2 Lime Wedges
2 Black Olives
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice mix the tequila, Midori and limeade. Shake well and then pour into a martini glass. Put the lime wedges on the sides of the glass to make Yoda’s ears and place the olives on toothpicks to make Yoda’s eyes. Cheers!!
Kentucky Buck
Kentucky Derby is just around the corner! For those who will be watching, here’s a recipe to try.
Kentucky Buck
Ingredients:
2 oz. Bourbon Whiskey
3/4 oz. Lemon Juice
1/2 Oz. Simple Syrup
2 Dashes of Angostura Bitters
1 Strawberry
2 oz. Ginger Beer
Garnish: Lemon Slices, Strawberries, Mint
In a cocktail shaker add the whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup, bitters and strawberry. Then, using the muddler, muddle the strawberry. Add ice to the shaker and shake for 10 seconds. Strain into a Collins glass filled with fresh ice. Add ginger beer and add garnish as desired. Cheers!

Attitude is Everything
Ingredients:
2 oz. Bourbon
1 oz. Blueberry Thyme Simple Syrup
3/4 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice (use reamer)
1 c Sugar
1/2 c Blueberries plus more for garnish
Handful of Thyme Sprigs
First prepare the simple syrup by combining 1 c. water, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 blueberries and thyme sprigs in a small saucepan. Using the muddler, muddle the blueberries and thyme to break them up and then place over low heat until sugar is completely dissolved. Using the fine mesh strainer, strain the mixture into a container and let fully cool before using. Keep refrigerated. Can be made ahead of time.
In a shaker cup filled with ice, add the blueberry thyme simple syrup, fresh lemon juice, and bourbon. Shake well and pour over fresh ice and add blueberries and a fresh thyme sprig for garnish.

Did you know that over 120k Mint Juleps will be served during the Kentucky Derby this weekend? This is a delicious and super impressive cocktail.
Classic Mint Julep
Ingredients:
1 oz. Mint Simple Syrup
2 Fresh Mint Leaves
2 oz. Kentucky Bourbon
Splash of Hibiscus Syrup (here’s the Amazon ASIN B004L6FQLC)
Fresh Mint Spigs
1 C. Sugar
First make the mint simple syrup by adding 1 c. sugar and 1 c. water to a small saucepan. Bring the mixture to a low simmer until the sugar is fully dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool. Once the mixture is cool, add a handful of mint to the syrup and use the muddler to release the mint essence. Use the fine mesh strainer to pour the syrup mixture into a container and keep refrigerated.
This cocktail is built in the Julep glass. Add 2 mint leaves to the bottom of a glass and add the mint simple syrup. Top with crushed ice and add Kentucky bourbon. Using the bar spoon, stir the ice until the glass is cold. Drizzle the hibiscus syrup over the top and garnish with fresh mint sprigs. Cheers!
Not as popular as the Mint Julep, but the Black Eyed Susan is another Kentucky Derby favorite and it’s the signature cocktail for the 2nd race in the Triple Crown.
Black Eyed Susan
Ingredients:
1.25 oz. Vodka
1/2 oz. Elderflower Liqueur (like St. Germain)
2 oz. Pineapple Juice
1/4 oz. Lime Juice
3/4 oz. Orange Juice
Orange Slices and Maraschino Cherries for garnish
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the vodka, Elderflower liqueur, pineapple juice, lime juice and orange juice. Shake well and strain into a Collins Glass with fresh ice. Garnish with an orange slice and add a cherry. Cheers!

Pineapple Margarita
Ingredients:
1 oz. Silver Tequila
4 oz. Pineapple Juice
1/2 oz. Triple Sec
1/4 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
Optional Kosher Salt for Rim and/or Pineapple Wedges and Lime for Garnish
In a shaker cup filled with ice, add the tequila, pineapple juice, lime juice and triple sec. Shake well and strain into a margarita glass with fresh ice. Garnish with Kosher salt on the rim and/or pineapple. Salud!
