Tequila Sunrise

Have you ever had a really good Tequila Sunrise?  Well this is it!

2 oz. Tequila
.5 oz. Grenadine
4 oz. Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice add the tequila and orange juice.  Shake very well.  In a fresh (tall) glass add the grenadine to the bottom of the glass, then add fresh ice on top of the grenadine.  Then gently pour in the orange juice and tequila mixture over the fresh ice. Use a bar spoon to gently stir up the grenadine from the bottom of the glass just enough to get an Ombre effect.   Cheers!

Irish Mule
If you love Moscow Mules, you’ll love the twist on this Irish Mule!!
2 oz. Jameson Irish Whiskey
10 Mint Leaves (plus more for garnish)
1 oz. Lime Juice
2 oz. Ginger Beer
In a copper mule mug place the mint leaves and gently press with a muddler to release the aromatics.  Fill the mug with ice and add the whiskey, lime juice and ginger beer.  Stir with a bar spoon and garnish with mint and a lime wheel if desired.  Cheers!
2 oz. Bourbon Whiskey
1 oz. Sweet Vermouth (not dry)
3 dashes Angostura Bitters (or orange bitters)
2-3 cocktail cherries (Luxardo)
A few drops of syrup from the cocktail cherries optional
Instructions
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add whiskey, Vermouth, bitters and cherry syrup (if using).
Shake for 90 seconds.  This is necessary to melt the ice to impart water into the drink.
Strain into a martini glass
Garnish with cherries.
Notes
The cherry syrup is not traditional but gives the cocktail a slightly sweeter flavor. Perfect if you like a little sweetness in your drink.  Never use dry vermouth for this drink, only good quality sweet vermouth.

Are you a gin or vodka drinker?  Gin is made from Juniper Berries so it has a very distinct flavor that you either love or hate.  If you do not care for gin, please feel free to swap it for vodka.

3 dashes Angostura Bitters
