I remember as a kid feeling special when I could order a Shirley Temple. Something about having a cherry in the drink made it feel extra special.  Well, I have some visitors coming and thought it would fun to have Shirley Temples for the kids and “Dirty Shirley’s” for the adults.  Of course the adults will gravitate to other fun things, but I think the kids will enjoy being part of our Happy Hour, without the booze of course.

.5 oz. Maraschino Syrup
Garnish with Maraschino Cherries and pretty straw

Here’s a beauty that’s sure to be your new favorite.  **Full disclosure, your drink will not be red as pictured. I forgot to take a picture and this was the closest I could find.  It will end up being more of a pinkish color.  Not a Barbie pink but more like a rosy pink but it should have a nice froth on it.  I’ll update with the real photo when I can.   Sorry!

1 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Chambord
2 oz. Pineapple Juice
.5 oz. Simple Syrup

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice add the vodka, Chambord, pineapple juice and simple syrup.  Shake well to get the pineapple juice really frothy.  Strain into a martini glass. Cheers!

This one takes a little work, but well worth it.  It’s fruity and refreshing.

1/2 c. Blackberries (will also work with Raspberries, Blueberries or other berries)
1 oz. Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
.5 oz. Simple Syrup
2 oz. Bourbon Whiskey
.5 oz. Orange Liquor

Put the blackberries in the cocktail shaker washed but whole.  Use the muddler to smash the blackberries up completely.  Add ice to the shaker, then add the lemon juice, simple syrup, whiskey and orange liquor.  Shake well and then use the hawthorn strainer to strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice.  Garnish with blackberries and orange wheel if desired. Cheers!

This is going to taste like one of those butterscotch hard candies.  Like they say, “Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker”.

Ingredients:

1.5 oz. Vodka
1.5 oz. Butterscotch Schnapps
2 oz. Milk

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice add the vodka, butterscotch schnapps, milk and caramel sauce.  Shake well to break down the caramel sauce.  Strain into a martini glass. Cheers!

Ingredients:
2 oz. Gin
3/4 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
1 oz. Honey
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice add the honey, lemon juice and gin. Shake very well to fully dissolve the honey and strain into a chilled glass. Cheers!
