For my whiskey lovers out there, I’ve got a special treat for you!  This cocktail is sweet and oh so delicious!  It’s perfect for enjoying while wrapping presents or hosting a party.

2 oz. Rum Chata
2 oz. Chocolate Liqueur
1 oz. Bourbon
Pecans and Caramel Sauce

Start with chopping the pecans and placing on a plate. On a different plate make a circle about the size of the rim of the glass and dip the glass into the Carmel.  Then dip into the chopped pecans and set aside.  In a cocktail shaker filled with ice add the Rum Chata, chocolate liqueur and bourbon.  Shake well and strain into the prepared glass.  For extra flair you could add whipped cream on top and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Yum!

Eggnog Martini

Ah the holidays!  Nothing says Christmas more than a glass of eggnog. Here’s an easy recipe to elevate this classic to new heights!

1 oz. Vanilla Vodka
1 oz. Amaretto
3 oz. Eggnog (any kind)
Cinnamon Sugar

Start with placing cinnamon sugar on a plate. Wet the rim of a glass and dip in the cinnamon sugar.  Add ice to cocktail shaker and add vodka, amaretto and eggnog. Shake well and strain into glass.  Cheers!

Naughty Elf

This cocktail is great for any time of the year but it’s beautiful color makes it so festive for a Christmas celebration. It’s so easy to make and can easily be multiplied if you need to make something for a larger crowd.

Start with putting colored sprinkles on a plate (for Christmas red, green and white looks great) and wetting the rim of a glass.  Dip the glass in the sprinkles and set aside.

1 oz. Spiced Rum
1 oz. Pomegranate Liqueur
1 oz. Orange Liqueur
3 oz. Pomegranate Juice

Add ice to a cocktail shaker and then add the spiced rum, pomegranate liqueur, orange liqueur and pomegranate juice.  Shake well and strain into prepared glass.  Cheers!

This martini is so simple to make and is so delicious that it does not need a holiday or special event to be enjoyed. This drink is the perfect balance of sweet and sour so the vanilla from the vodka really stands out and is exceptionally delicious.  If you don’t have mint, don’t sweat it.  It adds an extra dimension to the drink but it would still be delicious without.

2 oz. Vanilla Vodka
1 oz. Simple Syrup
.5 oz. Lime Juice
7 Blackberries
5 Mint Leaves
Rosemary sprig for garnish

Start with placing 5 mint leaves and 5 blackberries in the cocktail shaker and use the muddler to gently mash the blackberries and mint.  Juice a lime using the citrus reamer. Add ice to the cocktail shaker then add the vodka, simple syrup and lime juice.  Shake well and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with the rosemary and 2 blackberries.

Cheers!

Here’s a very easy to make cocktail that is as delicious as it is beautiful.  This is great for the holidays and you could add other garnish, but I think this one looks so elegant with just silver or gold sanding sugar on the rim.

2 oz. Rum Chata
2 oz. Vanilla Vodka
1 oz. Sweetened Condensed Milk
Silver or Gold Sanding Sugar for the Rim

Start with putting sanding sugar on a plate and wet the rim of a martini glass.  Dip the rim into the sugar and set aside.  In a cocktail shaker filled with ice add the Rum Chata, vodka and sweetened condensed milk.  Shake vigorously to make sure the condensed milk is fully dissolved into the drink.  Strain into the prepared martini glass.  Cheers!

We the rim of a martini glass and dip the rim into the candy and set aside.  Add ice to a cocktail shaker and add vodka, Kahlua, 50/50 and peppermint schnapps.  Shake well and pour into martini glass.  Top with whipped cream and add mint and cherries if desired.  Cheers!

This is a wonderful cocktail for any time of the year, but it definitely works well as a holiday/Christmas cocktail.  It’s so delicious and may be my new favorite “go-to” drink. This drink goes down so easy, so be careful!

Cran-Amaretto

2 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Amaretto
1 oz. Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice
2 oz. Cranberry Juice

Start with making the orange garnish. Use the citrus zester tool to make a long ribbon of orange peel.  Using the citrus reamer, juice the orange and set the juice aside. Add ice to a cocktail shaker and the vodka, amaretto, orange and cranberry juice.  Shake well and strain into a glass with fresh ice.  Garnish with the orange peel.  Cheers!

I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about adding cranberry sauce to a cocktail….but not anymore!  The cranberry flavor is on point with the holidays and this will be my new “go to” holiday margarita recipe. It has a crisp cranberry flavor and the tartness from the cranberries and lime compliment each other so well.

2 oz. Canned cranberry sauce (whole or jellied)
1.5 oz. Blanco Tequila
.5 oz. Orange Liqueur such as Triple Sec, Cointreau or Grand Mariner
.5 oz. Lime Juice
3 oz. Cranberry Juice
Fresh Cranberries and Lime Wheel for Garnish

Using the citrus reamer, juice a lime and set aside.  Add ice to the cocktail shaker and add the cranberry sauce to the shaker along with the tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice and cranberry juice.  Shake vigorously for 30 seconds to blend the cranberry sauce with the cocktail.  Strain into a glass with fresh ice and garnish with fresh cranberries and a lime wheel.
