If you’re looking for a delicious and super simple cocktail, you’re going to love this one! Just 3 simple ingredients to make the perfect cocktail for any occasion!

French Martini Recipe:

3 oz. Vodka (Vanilla Vodka would be delicious too!)
3 oz. Pineapple Juice
2 oz. Chambord or other Raspberry Liqueur

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the vodka, pineapple juice and Chambord.  Shake well because the longer you shake, the more frothy the pineapple juice will become.  Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a pineapple wedge, fresh raspberries or some like it with a lemon peel.

Cheers!

OMG this is so easy and so good!  It kind of reminds me of an Orange Julius but a little hit of chocolate. And it’s healthy because it has fresh squeezed orange juice in it, right?  It’s a great way to get more Vitamin C.

Chocolate Orange Martini

2 oz. Fresh Squeezed Oranges
1 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Chocolate Liqueur
1 oz. Orange Liqueur
Garnish with Orange Wheel

Start by using the citrus reamer to juice an orange.  Add ice to a cocktail shaker.  Add 2 oz. orange juice to the jigger and place the fine mesh strainer on the cocktail shaker. Pour the orange juice into the strainer, then add the vodka, chocolate liqueur and orange liqueur.  Shake well and then strain into a cocktail glass. Place an orange wheel on the rim.  Cheers!!

You could add more chocolate liqueur if you wanted more chocolate flavor, or more vodka depending on what kind of day you’ve had.

Oh happy day!  The hubby is at the races and I’m home alone enjoying this gorgeous day!!!  Do I feel guilty for enjoying a day to myself?  Nah!!!

Here’s a yummy cocktail I came up with before heading outside to enjoy the sunshine and perfect weather.  Look at the beautiful color from the Chambord and fresh raspberries!  If you shake this really well, the pineapple juice makes this really thick rich foam which takes this cocktail to the next level!   And it’s so delicious!!!

Raspberry Delight

2 oz. Vodka
2 oz. Raspberry liqueur (I used Chambord)
2 oz. Pineapple Juice
10 Fresh Raspberries plus more for garnish

Add the raspberries to the shaker and use the muddler to mash them up.  Add ice to the shaker then add vodka, raspberry liqueur and pineapple juice.  Shake well and strain into martini glass.  Hint: I used the hawthorn strainer and fine mesh strainer because the raspberry seeds will clog up the strainer that is attached to the cocktail shaker.  Garnish with raspberries or you could use a pineapple wedge if you have one.  I highly recommend this one!!  Cheers!

St. Patrick’s Day is my favorite holiday since it’s my wedding anniversary and a great excuse to gather with friends and family. Here’s a fun and festive margarita that isn’t just for St. Patrick’s Day.  It’s so delicious this may be your new go-to margarita recipe!

Irish Margarita

2 oz. Resposado Tequila (Aged tequila, not a white tequila)
1 oz. Blue Curacao
1 oz. Peach Schnapps
.5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice (use the citrus reamer)
4 oz. Pineapple Juice
Garnish-I used honey to help make the green and white sprinkles stick. You could use gold sanding sugar, green sanding sugar or anything else that is St. Patrick’s Day themed.
**Full Disclosure** I cheated and added a drop of green food coloring to make the green darker. The curacao made the drink a light green color, but I wanted a darker green so I added a drop of green to enhance the green.

On a shallow plate make a circle with honey, corn syrup, or maple syrup if using large shaped sprinkles. If you are using colored sugar, it does not need to be as sticky so you could use the used lime or water to wet the rim.  On a separate plate place sprinkles in color of your choice. Dip the rim of the glass in honey and then dip in the sprinkles.  Set aside.

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice add the tequila, curacao, peach schnapps, lime juice and pineapple juice.  Shake well.  Add fresh ice to the margarita glass and strain the drink into the glass.

Cheers!

Green Dublin Apple Cocktail

When you think of St. Patrick’s Day cocktails, you think green, and this drink does not disappoint! This is a great combination with Irish Whiskey and Sour Apple Schnapps. There’s a wee bit of white cranberry juice to balance out this cocktail to make it super delicious. You’re going to love this cocktail!

2 oz. Irish Whiskey
2 oz. Sour Apple Schnapps
2 oz. White Cranberry Juice
Green Apple or mint for Garnish

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice add the whiskey, sour apple schnapps and cranberry juice. Shake well and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with mint or green apple slices. Cheers!

“I think I’m in Love” by Eddie Money was playing when I took a sip of this cocktail and it had me singing “I think I’m in Love!”  Wow, this is it!  If you’re looking for a Valentine’s cocktail, this one is perfect. It has a gorgeous color and the flavor will make your toes curl.

Blackberry Elderflower Cocktail

6 Blackberries plus more for garnish
2 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Elderflower Liqueur
.5 Fresh Lemon Juice
1 oz. Simple Syrup

Start with juicing the lemon using the citrus reamer and set juice aside.  Place the blackberries at the bottom of the cocktail shaker and use the muddler to mash the blackberries.  Add ice to the cocktail shaker.  Add vodka, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice and simple syrup.  Strain using the hawthorn and/or fine mesh strainer to keep all the blackberry seeds out.  Garnish with blackberries if desired. Cheers!

Happy Friday Eve!  I decided to have an after dinner cocktail since this has been such a crazy busy week and it’s almost Friday.  Yay!  I found this recipe and made some minor tweaks because initially it was too sweet.  So if you like a sweeter drink, just add more simple syrup.

Elderflower Lemon Drop

2 oz. Citrus Vodka
1 oz. Elderflower Liqueur
1 oz. Orange Liqueur such as Cointreau
1 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
.5 oz. Simple Syrup
Sugar/Sanding Sugar for rim and garnish with Lemon Peel or Thyme if desired

Juice the lemon and set juice aside. Use the lemon to wet the rim of a cocktail glass.  Dip the glass in sugar or sanding sugar and set aside.  Add ice to a cocktail shaker and add the vodka, Elderflower, Cointreau, lemon juice and simple syrup.  Shake well and strain into the prepared glass.  Garnish with thyme and/or lemon peel if desired.  Cheers!

My better half is a bourbon lover, so I came up with this one for him.  It’s an Old Fashioned with pomegranate liqueur in it and these 2 really play well off of each other.  This cocktail has a beautiful red color and should be served in a short glass with 1 extra large ice cube.  Large cubes melt slower, so they will not dilute the cocktail as fast as regular sized cubes.  This was my first time using TruCubes for crystal clear ice cubes, and I love it!  It just really added that extra touch of elegance to have a super clear, extra large cube.

2 oz. Bourbon
1.5 Pomegranate Liqueur
.5 oz. Simple Syrup
1-2 Dashes of Angostura Bitters

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the bourbon, pomegranate liqueur, simple syrup and bitters. Add a large ice cube to an Old Fashioned glass and strain the cocktail using the fine mesh strainer to aerate the cocktail.  Cheers!

This is a delicious and gorgeous cocktail that is perfect for Valentines.  It’s similar to a lemon drop, but strawberries are used instead of lemons.  It’s so delicious and easy to make!

2 oz. Citrus Vodka or Regular Vodka
1 oz. Orange Liqueur (such as Cointreau)
5-6 Strawberries (depending on size) (about 1 cup)
1 oz. Simple Syrup
Sugar or Sanding Sugar for rim and Strawberry for garnish

Start with washing the strawberries and cutting the tops off.  Prepare the glass by using one of the strawberry tops to moisten the rim of the glass.  Then place sugar on a plate and dip the rim of the glass into the sugar and set aside.  Place 5-6 strawberries (mine were small so depending on the size you may need less).  Place the strawberries in the cocktail shaker and use the muddler to mash the strawberries.  Add ice to the cocktail shaker.  Then add the vodka, orange liqueur and simple syrup.  Shake well (at least 10 seconds).  I recommend double straining to ensure you get all the seeds and mush out. I used the hawthorn strainer and the fine mesh strainer.

I came up with this drink while watching Sunday football with the hubs and decided to mix white chocolate liqueur with banana liqueur and man this did not disappoint!  This cocktail is sweet but great for an after dinner drink. Just watch out because there is a pretty good amount of alcohol and you’d never know it based on how easy it is to drink.  You’ll be saying one thing…”more please”.

2 oz. Banana Liqueur
2 oz. White Chocolate Liqueur
2 oz. Vanilla Vodka (or regular Vodka)
2 oz. half and half or whatever milk you have on hand

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice add the banana liqueur, white chocolate liqueur, vodka and half and half.  Shake well and strain into a martini glass.  Cheers!
